Neon Rituals

About this release

**Welcome to The Chapel. The music is the ritual.** Beneath the neon streets of Annwra's fictional electric city lies a nightclub that does not appear on any official map. They call it The Chapel. Its doors open after midnight. Its sound system broadcasts frequencies that cannot be traced. And the people who enter sometimes emerge with memories of places they have never visited. Neon Rituals follows one night inside this mysterious underground world. Across five tracks, Annwra explores the tension between liberation and control, desire and danger, electronic music and ancient mythology. The opening title track introduces The Chapel's hypnotic atmosphere. Worship the Bassline transforms the club's relentless rhythms into something resembling a collective ceremony. Saint of the Afterparty celebrates the seductive figures who inhabit the city's underground. Velvet Violence introduces a darker edge, where attraction and aggression become difficult to distinguish. The EP closes with No Gods Before Midnight, an explosive declaration of independence that also reveals the unsettling truth behind The Chapel: its music may be activating something ancient beneath the city. Musically, Neon Rituals combines industrial pop, dark electro, metallic percussion, pulsing synthesizers and intimate vocals. It is Annwra at her most energetic, provocative and dangerous, a soundtrack to a night that should never end.
